Does best in bright but indirect or filtered sunlight.
Provide a moist, rich and well-draining potting mix. You can use a coir or peat based mix with a liberal addition of perlite. You might want to add some orchid bark.
Fertilize sparingly with a quality organic time-release product. Every 3 months or so, suspend feeding in winter. Cheap fertilizers have salts that can kill plants.
Water only when the top inch of the mix is dry. Generally aim for a consistent moistness to the soil but avoid wetness. Wet roots will rot and kill the plant.
All tropicals do best in humidity. Provide a humidifier if possible, if not mist frequently and consider a pebbled water tray for the pot to sit upon. Don't allow orders the pot to sit directly in the water as this can lead to root rot.
