Rare Antique F Winkle Berry Bowl with Drain Insert

Very Rare F Winkle & Co, (also known as F W & Co), porcelain berry bowl with drain insert. The berries sit in the top drain insert in order to let any liquid drain into the main bowl.

This unique, antique bowl is the Arundel pattern. It is a beautiful, vibrant blue with pink and yellow flowers, accented with gold. The drain insert has a soft yellow center. The underside is marked with the pattern name and F W & Co. Part of the hallmark has worn off, but is clearly the mark of the F Winkle & Co.

Measurements: 7 1/2” across x 2 1/2” deep.
Condition: Quite good. There is some wear to the gold and areas where the blue has worn off around the edges. There are no chips or cracks.

This bowl can certainly be used as indented, for berries. But it looks pretty orders with flowers or plants. It is too pretty to be put away in a cupboard.
