Jackie-OOOOH Stunning 1960's RED orders Suit

Thanks to the TV series Mad Men (2007-2015), the work-a-day fashions of the 1960's are HOT, HOT, HOT today...and rightfully so!! The ladies who worked in the 'office' world always dressed immaculately, for the most-part in dresses or suits...with pencil skirts or A-lines, rounded or scooped or "V" collared necklines, and made of easy to wear 'n wash fabrics. Colors and hemlines varied a bit as the decade of the 1960's morphed into the wild 'n crazy 70's, a whole other fashion era!!

This Mid-Century 2-Piece "Tailored By BUDDY BATES" Suit is the perfect all-around-town ensemble that was probably worn to the office, to the special luncheon, and then by the end of the day, the lucky lady wearing this suit could be dining-out in the nicest restaurant in town! The pieces are the jacket, and the Pencil skirt...all in the same color of True RED.

The short Jacket (probably just a bit lower than the waistline), is beautifully tailored with lapelled collar --- the top collar area trimmed in a white 'piping'; the bodice has the very flattering curved seaming, creating a very nice fit for the bustline and the bottom of the jacket is notched on both sides where the seaming ends at the hemline. The sleeves are about 3/4-length, also trimmed out in white!! The front closure has gorgeous BIG red buttons and double=sewn button holes.

The Pencil skirt offers the perfect balance and "LOOK" for this type of Jackie-O suit, with a kick pleat in the back and left-side metal zipper.

This suit has no size label, and is probably a Modern Size 6, with the following APPROXIMATE measurements:
