Exceptional draftsmanship and subtle watercolor define this street scene of daily life from the Old City Jerusalem, from the series titled "Jerusalem - Your Ways Are Mine" from Israeli artist Hanna Dilian. This is the Jerusalem of the here and now, the city common to all, steeped in its history and simultaneously contemporary. Measuring 11.5" x 8.5" sight and 18" x 14" in gilt wood frame, with cream-colored matte and behind glass. In excellent condition and signed by the artist.

Hanna Dilian was born in Tel-Aviv in 1939. After graduating high school there, she studied in the Bezalel Art Academy between the years 1956 – 1960, and then received advanced training in the United States. She was inspired by the artistic culture of the time, when Abstract Expressionism prevailed in the 1950s as a primary method of painting, and explored ideas about the sublime and the spiritual. In 1961, she was awarded the Bavlianne prize in Rome for young artists, and was twice chosen to represent Israel in the international "Women Create" exhibition.

Dilian lived most of her life in Jerusalem, and maintained a studio in the Yemin Moshe quarter, overlooking the walls of Jerusalem's Old City, which served as an inspiration for her work. She now lives in moshav Beit – Nehemya.

Her many awards, memberships, exhibits, and appointments include:
