60s vintage purse - Jewel Tone Appliqué Handbag in black with a beautiful fruit bowl motif.
This was originally a kit that came
with "padded silk embroidered appliqués and brilliant jewels orders, sequins and dramatic ornaments".
It appears it was assembled but never used. Features a wooden bottom and inner side pocket with zipper.

This is mid-century kitsch at its best and would make a great addition to your vintage ensemble or a great gift for your favorite collector.

New vintage condition: the faux leather is stiff but with use it will relax. The box is not in the best condition, though.
