This batik painting tells a touching story. A girl called Qin,soon after her wedding,her husband was called up to fight to the battlefront. Qin orders sat under a persimmon tree everyday,looking forward to see husband coming back safe and sound.One day,Qin fell sleep under the tree,she made a dream,she lived with her husband happily and never separated in the dream,they have a baby girl,as beautiful as a blooming flower. But the reality is cruel,three days later,a sad news of her husband's death come to her ears,she was so heartbroken,committed suicide soon.She choose to live in the beautiful dream for ever.
The persimmon tree is a symbol of happiness, the blooming flower in girl's belly is a symbol of life and hope.
