White metal double Albert watch chain with 2 dog clip closures and sterling silver cricket medal fob to the centre depicting 2 crossed cricket bats in front of a set of wickets.
The cricket medal fob is in very good condition with light surface wear all over and heavier scratches to the reverse. It is hallmarked orders for silver, 1903 Birmingham, stamped Fattorini Shipton and signed with the maker's mark for Thomas Fattorini. It has heavy patina in places which we have left in place. The jump rings are a little askew but good and strong. The chain measures approx 15 1/2 inches including clips. It is stamped NCRCO for N C Reading & Co Ltd but otherwise has no hallmarks or stamps. Both clip closures are good and strong, one is a little askew and does not close as neatly as the other. There is an extra chain link to the central round link. The chain has light surface wear and patina which has dulled the shine giving it a lovely aged antique look.
