Product code: A large Shackleton vintage orders plaque on wooden mount
A nice commemorative piece that also has a real charm and presence.
A base metal plaque mounted on a wooden plinth that commemorates the RRS Shackleton, a Royal research ship operating in the Antarctic from 1955 to 1992.
The ship was orders named after the great explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton.
This plaque is a good size measuring 26 cm high x 20 cm wide x 6 cm deep.
The detailing and colours are fabulous and the Crown at the top makes this a lovely decorative piece.
It is in excellent condition.
