Hertwig Lowbrow China Head Marion Doll with Glazed Arms and Legs, Muslin Body, Slightly Turned Head. She is beautifully painted with no chips or scratches, there is some crazing to the glaze on her arms. I found a repair bill from a doll restorer for repairing her shoulders. A cloth tag sewn to orders the body says Florence K. Grower Dolls, Willow Valley, Verona, N.Y. It was very nicely done and professional looking. She displays well and is very nicely dressed having some wear and nice patina to the outfit due to age. Black painted boots with a painted blue-ribbon bow. She is filled with excelsior (wood shavings) 19" doll. The back of the doll says Patent applied for Germany.
