This vast supper club for 2500 patrons opened in Times Square in 1937. It was arranged on three floors and occupied an entire block on Broadway. The International was the first to feature an escalator and could freeze an ice rink on the dance floor. Its opening heralded a struggle for dominance within New York's nightclub scene. Effects of the depression and soaring costs forced the International's closure within a year. This 15 1/2 inch tall menu is very scarce if for no other reason than the short life of the club. It has some light smudging on the cover and back. It has been folded (most old menus are) but is in very nice frameable condition with no rips, tears, or writing.

Returns for Damaged Goods: In the unfortunate event that this package arrives damaged, please contact us right away. We will need a photograph of the item and packaging for insurance purposes. This must be sent within three (3) days. You will be refunded through the insurance process so your cooperation is required.

Returns for Other Reasons: Sometimes the magic just doesn't work and you need to make a return. If this is the case, contact us immediately and return the item within five (5) days of receipt. Buyers are responsible for these return shipping costs. Your refund will be minus orders any expenses incurred in the fulfillment of your order.

Some Additional Notes:
• We strongly suggest you insure your return shipment and acquire a tracking number. Returned items must be received in good condition and if damaged or lost in return will not be refunded. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.

• If you've received an empty box, you will need to report it to the Post Office as mail theft. To aid you in your claim, we photograph each package and its contents before shipping and will be happy to provide you with any photos necessary.

• If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

• All payment processors and Etsy require that the item be returned before a refund can be given. If the refund is for damaged goods your shipping expenses will be fully refunded.

• If, after three (3) days, we have not heard from you regarding any problems with your purchase we will consider the transaction good and complete and the window for returns closed.
