The COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine have definitely fueled my art practice.
Rather than giving in to frustration and despair, I focus on the connections that are still possible and beauty wherever it can be found (or created).
This piece is one of the most abstract and exuberant of the series. The black painted lines dance with movement and hint of asemic writing; certainly their meaning is joyful as a breeze.
The substrate came to me compliments of a pasta salad...
