The Green Bird Grasshopper can generally be found from June to late autumn and ranges from southern California, southern Nevada, Arizona, New orders Mexico, southwestern Utah, western Texas and northern Old Mexico. This specimen measures 2 1/4 inches long (body only) with a 3 7/8 inch wingspan and comes mounted in a 8 3/4 x 10 3/4 inch frame.
