25- English Walnut Pedestal Yan Bowl

One-of-a-kind piece handmade in my shop in Southwest Washington. This piece features outstanding English Walnut wood and has superb detail and feel.The bowl is nicely detailed with a lazy j cut out for your yarn to feed through to keep everything nice and tiry. This bowl is rather tall with a heavy pedestal base for stability. The rich wood produces gorgeous colors in the grain (see photos), which makes a stunning piece! This turned bowl presents a beautiful balance of colors, grain patterns, and dimensions. The piece is finished with Polyurethane Finish.


This bowl is made from orders one solid piece of wood that is dried and hand turned on a lathe. This process takes time to complete with the drying between steps so the bowl doesn't split and will give you a bowl that will be passed on to future generations. This is a fairly deep bowl which feels sturdy yet very stable so it won't tip over! It has a polyurehane finish. The finish on this piece is superb; you will be impressed!
