Would have had cigarettes originally but could be used as a jewellery box.
The music box movement has been serviced and runs well
The box orders itself is free from scratches and has has a light waxing to bring out the colours of the wood
Very original condition it's not been messed about with
Chip carving to the top
Original Thorens label to the base
The music box plays the Gypsy Baron
Interesting shape a bit like a vaulting horse
Made in Switzerland stamp
