Beautiful Wax Seal Stamp ROSES French Antique to Vintage Alpaca or German silver Sealing Stamp France, Not Monogrammed Blank base Matrix, orders

orders Very pretty French Wax Sealing Stamp, possibly made of Alpaca Silver, or also known as German silver, giving the stamp a nice lighter weight than some stamps. I originally thought it was solid silver, it has the look and feel of genuine silver, but I was unable to find any hallmarks or stamps to tell of its provenance, making and material content, hence my conclusion that it could be Alpaca or perhaps silver plated. It features a beautiful pattern of Roses on both sides and along the upper edge, the very top is plain as are the sides. It is a very well made stamp! I am quite taken with it's shape and design!!
It stands 2-7/8 inches tall X 1 inch wide (73mm x 25mm) and weighs 17 grams on my digital scale. It is in marvelous condition with only very very minimal micro scratches from time's effects, no dings nor damage, some light stubborn age patina spots to the surface.

The base or matrix is not monogrammed, it remains blank, so could be engraved with your own or a loved one's initials if the new owner of this lovely stamp so wishes!! I love all wax sealing stamps but the ones with without monograms really capture my heart!
