Vintage orders Blown Glass Red Orange Owl Paperweight Silver Leaf Millefiori Eyes Franco Moretti Style

A beautiful blown glass owl with applied beak and millefiori eyes. This features layers of blown glass, starting with what looks like a clear center. The center is cased with a milk glass or lattimo layer which provides opacity. On top of that, there are layers of colored glass. The body of the owl has silver leaf within the layers of glass. Personally, I love this! The red glass head has lovely bullicante throughout. The entire piece is encased in clear glass, which has been pulled to form ears and a tail orders on the back. This piece isn't signed nor was there a maker's sticker present when I found it, but the quality makes me think this is a Murano piece made in a similar style to Franco Moretti. Would make an exceptional gift for the vintage owl lover in your life!

This lovely owl is in excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Please see all photos for confirmation of condition.
