Black denim jean jacket, with dramatic hand embroidered, vintage Panamanian reverse applique molas in bright orders reds, yellows, purples & blues.

Molas are a hand-made textile that forms part of the traditional women's clothing of the Kuna people of Panama. Layers of cloth are sandwiched, stitched, and cut away in a reverse applique process. We have treated these vintage fabrics for color stability before heat fusing & hand stitching them into our art-to-wear.

Large mola on back measures approximately 14x18 inches; small mola on left front approximately 5 inches square.

Base jacket is an upcycled Calvin Klein denim jean jacket in a Men's size Medium that will also fit up to Women's size Large.

Fabric: 100% cotton black denim.

Fit: Classic, boxy cut, button front, 4 pockets.
