This is a fabulous colorful mid 20th century cubist/expressionist teapot handmade and painted in Sicily, Italy by La Musa. The teapot features bright primary colors with a deco shaped handle & spout. It's orders hard not to think of Pablo Picasso when looking at this teapot. His work with cubist faces is one of the most iconic in all of history in the art world. This teapot featured two different cubist faces, one on each side. I would suggest using this teapot is for decoration only considering it's age and value. There is some minor crazing on the inside of the pot and a few areas where the glaze has worn on the spout and handle. Otherwise, excellent vintage condition. Measures: 9 inches wide and 5 inches tall.
