Orders Graduated necklace of blackened wooden beads with carved grooves. Elegant. Modern.

This striking necklace features hand shaped, graduated beads that are grooved across the diameter.

The beads are quiet and elegant - and they. definitely have presence.

The color orders is a warm black to deep brown, like ebony but I believe these beads are another hard wood with a deep stain. They are weighty, but perhaps not quite as weighty as ebony would be.

The beads are strung on coated wire. They close with a grooved barrel clasp - which is a replacement. When I got them they had half a barrel clasp in a much smaller size. I replaced it.

The necklace is 28 1/2” long. The beads graduate from 1.7cm (11/16”) long X 1.3cm (1/2”) in diameter to 2.2cm (7/8”) long X 1.9cm (3/4”) wide.
