It was painted from direct observation as part of the Strada Easel Challenge. It was the 15th painting in the 31 day challenge in orders January 15, 2022, with corrections & touch ups on January 17, 2022 & October 29, 2022. It is of a piece of peppermint candy given to me as part of my birthday present by Barbara Andrews, a blue antique teal canning jar… I love teal canning jars❤️❤️❤️❤️ & an orange wedge. It is sweet enough to be hung all year long in any room.
