orders This ornate Danish Whale Oil lamp is from an estate near Milltown Wisconsin. It arrived in the United States in the very earliest part of the 1800s by their ancestors settling in NW Wisconsin. It measures approx. 16" at its tallest point X 4 3/4" across base and weighs 1 1/2 pounds. The lamp was designed to hang on wall or stand on flat surface. All adjoining pieces are soldiered with hand etched flora design. The few minor dings and dents add greatly to the patina and authenticity of this unique lamp.
