This wax painting is the perfect way to put a big pop of color into any home.
This is not what you usually think of when you think of a "painting'.... I actually use hot wax to form the rain instead of regular old acrylic paint!! By pushing Crayola crayons through a hot glue gun, I'm able to place colorful wax throughout my canvas, imitating falling rain. The texture in person is amazing.
This encaustic painting (wax painting) features a silhouette of a dancing woman in the rain. I cut my silhouettes out of sturdy vinyl and place them into my scenes. I carefully cover them before dropping the wax.
***This art has not been made yet, these are made to order! --EVERY painting is completely unique. The color hues may differ slightly, but will be made as closely as possible to the pictures. I can do many color combinations. Select one from the drop down menu or send me a message about a different color scheme. Please allow up to a week for me to complete the painting, and an additional 2-4 days for shipping (international shipment takes longer).***
I spend many hot Florida days in my garage/studio creating hundreds of these pieces each year.
Canvas is 16" x 20" on a wood frame. It is very lightweight and can easily be hung on one or two small nails. It will look great on any wall color and will definitely be a conversation piece for guests.
