"Rhinelander" Barb & Co Handcrafted Decorative and functional birdhouse wind-up music box with stand. This piece is signed by the artist Barb + Co, dated 1993 and copyrighted 1991.

This decorative birdhouse is completely handmade with a wind-up music box mechanism that plays Edelweiss. It is crafted with a cream timber design, brown orders slatted roof and decorations like fences and flowers. It measures 8 1/2" high x 7 1/2" wide and 6" deep front to back.

It comes with a display stand specifically designed for this birdhouse. Measures 7" square x 8" high with a 2 3/4" dowel that fits into the bottom of the Rhinelander.

This birdhouse has never been used outside and only for decorative purposes. It can be used functionally as a birdhouse if you wish as the sides of the bird house have air vents and the base has a drain hole. It is architecturally correct for most common nesting birds.
