orders Very unique one of a kind keepsake box made with Hard Maple along with select peices of Cherry and Black Walnut. This is all solid hardwood and no plywood or veneer is used. The peices on the top and bottom have been book matched, notice the beautiful grain the Hard Maple has. The hinges and latch are blackened solid brass, and the lid has felt bumpers on. The lid is also self supporting at about 110 degrees.
The box is hand crafted to a very fine finish, then many coats of hand rubbed natural Danish oil are applied for a very smooth and durable finish. Also after the oil has had time to cure this box has a high quality wood paste wax applied and buffed to a nice satin shine.
This box is 9.5 inches long by 5.75 inches wide by 4.25 inches tall.
