This poster is featuring an artwork of Joseph Beuys and Claas Oldenburg each, advertising an exhibition in Basel, Switzerland 1983. The poster is in fair condition with a large tear (fixed with tape), folds, stains, mild foxing as photographed. It is sold as is.

Joseph Heinrich Beuys (12 May 1921 – 23 January 1986) was a German artist, teacher, and theorist of art who was highly influential in international contemporary art in the latter half of the 20th century. He is a founder of the art movement known as Fluxus, and a practitioner and exemplar of happenings, and performance art.

Claes Oldenburg (January 28, 1929 – July 18, 2022) was a Swedish-born American sculptor.
