Numenera is a table top game (like Dungeons and Dragons) in which you play far-flung-way-in-the-future Indiana Jones characters on relic finding adventures. Like waaaaaaaaay into the future; it's resembles a post-post-post Earth utopia in which the human race is made up of technology and magic scavengers. The books haven't been used, but the slipcase has some peeling at the top. I really want to played this game, but it's leaving my collection because of down-sizing. Imagine yourself as the GM or Player in a mystical world where you WANT to find treasure and relics, that people care about and figure what they were used for. I wanted to write a scenario in which the players need to find the one proper fitting USB cable to a ancient phone that has art NFTs locked away, and the art would save the cultural museum in the wacko ziggurat in the outskirts of the city, run by decedents of Muskomites. Yeah, that's what this orders game could be!.
