Barnwood Shelf
Made from rough sawn red oak. These beams came from a 140 year old barn in southern Illinois. The shelf is lightly sanded so as to leave the saw marks left from the steam powered saw mill that milled them 100 plus years ago. Each peace has a unique pattern and look. I can make these in 2 ft, 2.5 ft, and 3 ft lengths. The shelf is 2 inches thing and is attached to 1/2 inch black iron pipe for mounting to your wall. The wood is finished with a bee wax and stain combination that leaves the wood with a smooth feel while retaining the orders rough sawn marks.
Each shelf is unique and has different grain patterns and look than the one pictured. While the look is similar, please understand that each piece has its own character. These are made from real barn wood and where cut by a steam powered saw mill over 130 years ago.
