From the English silversmiths, Daniel orders and Arter, we have a salt spoon marked Burmaroid. Also known as nickel silver, it actually is made from copper, nickel and zinc.

The firm of Daniel and Arter of Birmingham England was formed by Thomas Daniel and Thomas Arter in 1892 and traded with this imprint until 1920.
