This teapot is a beautiful specimen of Webster and Brother quad plated silver. It has the mark that was used from 1865-1867 when the company became Webster and Brother and prior to being incorporated as Webster Manufacturing Co. It is an old piece and does have some wear. The silver plate is excellent. It has a ding in the handle and a little bit of rough polishing. Overall, there is very little to indicate it is as old as it is.
