Vintage Thames Skinny Singing Santa Playing Harp Hobnail Christmas Planter Vase orders Japan 1950's Figurines Collectibles Decorations

Skinny Santa, playing away at a harp, singing as he plucks away at the strings.

Great little planter, made for Thames in Japan, sometime during the 50's. I love the nubby hobnail trim that covers the entire urn-shaped planter. Santa plays a bold leafy green harp, with gold trim along the upper rim and strings of the harp. Santa is open-mouthed, crooning the tune as he plays. His facial expression is wonderfully whimsical and signature Thames.

Measures approximate 4¼” tall, 3¾” wide, 3" deep and is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs, no significant paint loss orders, no crazing noted. Bright, rich coloration and clean inside. Retains the Thames foil label on the bottom and is stamped Japan.

Note -I will be listing over a dozen Thames 'Skinny Santa' figurines in the near future. They are super hard to find without repairs and so fun!
