White orders chalcedony stone 10mm beads make up the majority of this hand knotted neutral toned vintage bead necklace that I designed in the mid 1980s.
Vintage howlite beads in a 12mm size compliment both the natural 10mm gray chalcedony beads as well as the vintage African silver (white brass) spacer beads.

Vintage chocolate brown marble beads in 3 different sizes: 10mm, 15mm and 20mm add depth of color. ( there are 25mm to the inch for reference ) Each bead is different with swirls of white

◉ All the stone beads which we imported back in the 1970s - 1980s - and which I use in all my designs - were precision cut in China with a uniform polish and perfectly round - the pride in workmanship was incredible back then - sadly the majority of the stone beads which are now being imported to this country come from India where labor is cheap and the standards of cutting are no where near those of China over 30 years ago.◉

This necklace measures approximately 28" and will arrive gift wrapped in a complimentary vintage Chinese silk brocade bag all ready for gift giving.
