Another fabulous creation from Liz! This pair of sterling silver earrings is crafted from old stock "Bell Trading Post" turquoise. The Bell Trading Post was a famous roadside jewelry shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico, circa 1932-1969. It was located along the old Route 66 and was a must-stop for anyone traveling the old route westward to California. Even I stopped there as a kid and remember the huge collection of turquoise and copper jewelry for sale. The trading post specialized in Native American jewelry, especially high quality turquoise from the old west. Imagine my surprise when my Etsy partner Liz somehow scored some of this rare raw turquoise during her treasure hunts. This turquoise has incredible blue color with brown spiderwebbing - just fantastic! Liz and I collaborate on designs, and I love the bezel designs that lend a black outline to the gemstones. Don't miss your chance to own this super rare turquoise set in brand new sterling silver!
