Art Deco - statement earrings, upcycled native timber, wearable art, orders original artwork, one off item

orders These Australian red gum tree earrings were inspired by Art Deco aesthetics and were designed/made by me in collaboration with "ArtigianiCreations" (see on Etsy)
We collect fallen hardwood tree branches, hand carve and sand them into the desired shape and apply decorative stitches with thread and wire. It is a very labor intense process, and it is our way of upcycling native timber. Each piece of our jewellery is one of a kind as we only make one of each design or colour combination. There is no laser cutting or serial production here, but only original items! We think of them as wearable art, we title them individually, and sell them in an open frame.
The frame allows you to display the earrings when you are not wearing them. Just pop a double sided tape on the back of the frame and press it onto the wall, or the frame can just stand on its own.
We use high quality rose gold filled hooks and jump rings.
The earrings are lightweight and suitable for all day wear.
Triangle length 6cm, thickness 3mm, full length inc ear wire 8.5cm.
