Antique English silver Victorian pocket watch albert chain and orders fob medal. Fully hallmarked solid- Birmingham Henry Allday & Son.

A most beautiful English antique Victorian solid silver graduating fob pocket watch albert chain and fob medal.

The T- bar and clasp are both year marked 1896 and bear the lion passant and markers mark for Henry Allday and son, Birmingham. The chain links are individually hallmarked with the lion passant.

The silver fob medal bears the Birmingham anchor mark, lion passant and year letter for 1897. The makers name is worn from orders polishing and difficult to distinguish.

This is a superb and untouched example of it's kind and can be worn with a pocket watch in the traditional manner or as a necklace if so desired.

Measurements

Length (clasp to T-bar) = 31 cm.
Length (total chain) = 35 cm.
Length (total- clasp to end of medal) = 39.5 cm.

Condition

Polished and in lovely antique condition with no damage. Some wear to hallmarks from many years of polishing.
