SHIH orders TZU

orders This Shih Tzu is made using the art of intarsia. It measures 13 inches by 10 inches and is 1 inch thick.

It contains 33 individual pieces of wood, each cut out with a scroll saw, then shaped, raised or lowered and glued together to present the perfect image of the Shih Tzu.

The wood used is cherry, walnut and aspen.

There are no stains used. The colors are natural wood colors. The eyes and nose are painted black.

A backing is attached and a saw tooth picture hook is on the back for hanging on a wall. This Shih Tzu can also be displayed on a flat surface supported by a picture stand.

A lacquer finish is applied to preserve the wood and give it a slight shine.
