Nepalese orders Buddhist Temple Storage Box small

Vintage Nepalese Buddhist Storage Box Container. This beautiful piece from Nepal is handmade and hand painted with incredible imagery of the Buddhist faith. Each side of this tapered box has a different design. Each side has the look of Nepalese Thangka Buddhist Paintings, one side orders depicts an image of seated Buddha, another a beautiful pale blue Lotus flower together with the mountains of Nepal, the next a Buddhist Medallion and finally a giant Conch Shell. These panels have been beautifully painted however, do show signs of wear and tear, some slight scuffs at the edges. A tapered box itself has a reverse tapered short base, this also has been painted in the same style again with beautiful and different images in incredible vivid colors.
This wooden piece measures approximately 10”inches square and 10”inches tall, the inside is an unpainted dark stained wood.
The stunning open box would look wonderful in an ethnic or Asian inspired home or office, it would be fun used in a bedroom to hold accessories, socks or scarves or in a bathroom holding various household items, extra towels, reading material or even a number of TP rolls. A wonderful vibrant addition to brighten any living space.
