This wool sweater was hand knit in the Michigan woods! This sweater is available at a reduced price due to minor flaws.
Dimensions: 22 inches long, 36 inch circumference around waist, sleeve length 26 inches, shoulder width 24 inches. Fits like a baggy size small, or a more form fitting medium. Model is 5'3" with broad shoulders and generally wears a size medium.
Perfect for fall hiking, skiing, and playing outside in the snow, this sweater is made out of scrap and salvaged wool, making it as sustainably made as possible! Due to varied yarn types, the yoke (chest) and sleeves are slightly orders lumpy in places.
This sweater has unique care instructions:
Never hang your sweater on a hanger. This can warp the stitches. Instead, fold and store in drawer.
To wash: Wool doesn't need to be washed often, but if it does spot clean, or soak in cold water with wool wash/ shampoo. Gently press water out with towel with care not to warp stitches then then lay flat to dry.
If you're noticing your sweater has a looser fit than usual, wash in slightly warmer water, and dry in the sun, but take care! Heat can shrink wool.
Wool and knit fabrics last a long time with the proper care, and are natural warm and water resistant. This sweater is perfect for hiking, skiing, and life outdoors and built to withstand heavy use. Leather "handknit" tag is removable.
