Rare Antique French Handbag Tin, Confection Chocolate Candy orders Tin, Hand Bag Purse Green Alligator Look, Chocolate Ibled c 1910s Vintage
Rare and wonderful, this antique French confection tin from Chocolat Ibled is designed to look like a green alligator handbag or purse. There's a latch at front and a handle on the hinged lid. The tin likely dates to the 1910s or so. A little shabby, but still divine! I'm partial to these antique handbag tins, they are so wonderful decorating the fashionista closet or boudoir. Again, NOT A HANDBAG, but a metal tin designed to look like one. About 6” by 2.75” at bottom of base, by about 4.25” tall, excluding handle.
