Darling black shirtwaist dress from the late 1940s. In all likelihood this was a uniform back in the day, and probably a lighter color as it appears to have been dyed at some point. Darling pearlized buttons down the front and cute pleating and matching buttons on the sleeves. But what makes this dress extra cool is that underneath the pearlized buttons, are four hidden buttons to help with getting in and out of the dress without sacrificing the charm of the many small buttons on the front. It also comes with a side metal zipper to make things even easier! Medium to large size. Looks and feels like a heavier nylon or similar. Excellent vintage condition! No holes or tears. There are a few patches of what looks like maybe water marks? Or something, but its very faint and hard to see and takes absolutely nothing away from this dress. There is also signs of a small half inch repair under the right armpit. Measurements when lying flat, Doubled at bust, waist, and hip Armpit to armpit orders acr.
