Circa 1960s orders Ledo Rhinestone Twist Tassel Necklace

This gorgeous Ledo necklace is created in lariat style, the main motif hanging from a double rhinestone chain with the chain threading through the central loop, ending with two pear shaped stones. The clear rhinestones orders are both round and baguette shaped, with plenty of sparkle. Stones are set in rhodium plated metal. This necklace is marked Ledo on the back, referring to Leading Manufacturing - a company owned and started by designer Ralph Polcini. Polcini immigrated from Italy to the US, where he started his company. in 1911 This necklace is in excellent condition, with a couple of darkened stones. Adjustable to about 16 1/2 inches.
