The silk comes from the suri factories that would turn the scraps into waste. The women sew the silk together and makes a ribbon out of it and also yarn. I suggest the following care instruction: wash gently in cold water with a drop of mild soap. Use Fabric Conditioner to make your scarf soft and supple, pat dry and hang dry..
