Mexican Folk Art: Vintage Woven Fiber Bandit or orders Soldier on Horse

Classic Mexican Folk Art figure embodying the craft of "cesteria" which includes figures such as this as well as basketry. This is an old piece, at least 70 years old, of a soldier or bandit. The details are incredible, the gun in it's holder, the ammunition belt, the man's face, the horses face. All is in very, very good condition except he is missing the fingers on one hand.

This is a collector's piece for those amassing a group orders of old examples of Mexican folk art.

It is 16 1/2' high and 9" wide. It stands up with a little help (probably a stand).
