This necklace was worn by head hunters. The heads could be either made of can lids bought in Manipur or made by themselves. This head is orders enormous in size and has two human figures in place of two ears. It hangs from a chain consisting of very lovely and aged glass beads in orange and turquoise, with other white dotted black beads and an imitation dzi bead. Mounted on one plant fibre rope. Very rare piece.
