Petrified wood is the fossilized remains of terrestrial vegetation. It is the result of a tree or plant completely transitioning into stone. All of the organic material over thousands of years is replaced with minerals while retaining the original structure. Sometimes the minerals are precious mineralsl such as opal. You can see the blue opal in this beautiful Leopard. The naturally spotted cat is surrounded by a beautiful Amazonite bead and large Swarovski Crystal. The titanium wire is strong yet flexible and very comfortable. This necklace is closed with a SS lobster clasp and includes a 2 inch extender.
