Sontags are wonderful garments. They provide warmth through the torso while allowing complete freedom to the arms. They move with the body and are very comfortable. Like so many things from yesteryear the level of practicality is amazing! I had my daughter make one for me and I absolutely love wearing it! I highly recommend them! ... and that's not just a mom's biased opinion. :-D

This sontag is hand crocheted by my daughter from 100% cotton yarn. The main part is red, orange, yellow and white. It is trimmed in solid red. It wraps around the body and buttons in the back. It is 41" long from the center of the back of the neck to the ends of the front/side panels. (Measured from the center of of the neck around the top of the panels to the button in the back.) The back is 21" from the neck to the bottom of the "V". If you have any questions on sizing we'll do our best to help you. I modeled this but it was too large - we gathered it on orders the opposite side of the picture to make it work. It is larger than it appears in the first two photos! The neckline is reinforced by slip stitching.
