Vintage Halloween T Cohen Lithograph Tin Noisemaker with Wood REd orders Wooden Handle Ugly Snaggle Tooth Whiskered Witch with Bat and Broom Hat US
This vintage noisemaker is rare. It has a red wooden handle, and it's marked Made in USA. From what I can tell it's T Cohn. The lithograph is sharp with only some small spots of paint wearing off, please see the close ups. It's a haggard and tired looking witch, snaggle toothed with hoop earrings and whiskers on her chin. Stringy har and a black hat with a white band with a broom stuck in it, bat featured spreading it's wings. Makes a super loud noise when you hold it by the handle and spin it. 4" diameter.
I have just begun to sort and list my mother's large collection of holiday collectibles. This was orders carefully curated over decades, and consists of Halloween, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas items from the early 1900s through the 1960s.
She only (knowingly) purchased original items, not reproductions.
Many in the collections are from the 30s and 40s most from the 50s and 60s.
Many were made in Germany, and also in the US and Japan.
I will share whatever information my mother shared with me, but it is second-hand. I do know that she had a good eye and spent a lot of money for quality collectibles!
I will take the best pictures I can, and will get close ups of any wear or damage. These are 50-100 years old--some older, so keep that in mind and ask any specific questions you have.
I will be listing over the next few weeks.
I have a smoke free home, and will carefully wrap and box everything. I'll try to ship within 1-2 days. I'm happy to combine shipping costs on multple items.
