Antique orders Andean/Peruvian Woven Wool Strap/Band

This antique Andean woven wool band is unusual in its length which is 112" and 3.5" in width. These Andean bands were probably used as an aid in carrying bundles on backs. It might be displayed on a table or wall as a decoration or it would make a splendid addition to an outfit if used as a belt.

Because of orders its age, colors are somewhat muted and there are some edges showing wear. It even has a couple small antique grease smudges reflecting age and use.

Definitely one of a kind collector's piece.
