This is a mixed media birds nest hand tided with various laces, yarns, appliqués and pearl trim. It is approximately 18" in diameter when displayed flat on a table. I set it on a small inverted saucer to give a little height and stability. It can also be displayed in a like manner on a orders vase as pictured. This is a beautiful piece in person. I have used nylon and cotton crocheted laces, satin and grosgrain ribbons, yarns and beaded and braided trim for the nest. The edge of the nest is decorated with a ceramic bird, pearls, clay roses, sequins, appliquéd leaves and flowers and rhinestone trimmed butterflies, AB crystals and iridescent bead garland. This piece would be amazing to add as a centerpiece for a spring wedding or an Easter table. It could also be used at a baby shower or as a centerpiece to welcome in the spring season. The three blue ceramic eggs are included.
