LOT of 56 Metal Buttons art Deco Art Nouveau Victorian orders Hand Painted

Vintage Button Collection

I acquired these buttons from an estate sale a few years back. So they are all as found. Many orders are mounted on cardboard. The lady who owned them was a serious collector and had thousands and thousands of buttons from all eras. Naively, I thought I could become an expert of vintage buttons overnight. I am not a button expert!! I have tried to research as best I can, but I have a lot to learn ;)

These pretty buttons are all made of metal. A lot are brass, I believe. Most seem to be hand painted. Mounted on card stock. There are 56 total
