This charming bracelet is made with beautiful faceted dark purple Amethyst gemstone beads and large gold mirror beads. It ends with a beautiful shaped Amethyst charm in Gold.
The gemstone beads are strung on the highest quality coated, extreme strong, beading wire in 14K gold (49 strands). Each end of the gemstone bracelet features a crimp cover bead, while the end loops are finished off with wire protectors for better protection against wear (all in Gold Filled), which creates a strong and long lasting product.

What is Gold Filled?
A 14/20 Gold Filled piece is usually considered a lifetime piece of jewelry.
14/20 Gold Filled has a layer of Gold that is more than 100 times thicker than even the highest quality vermeil or Gold plating, and is measured not by thickness but by weight.
The term 14/20 Gold-Filled means that Gold Filled items must contain, by law, 5% or 1/20 of Gold by weight.
Under the same care as precious metal jewelry, 14KGF jewelry will not peel, flake, or wear off and can be treasured as heirloom pieces. Gold-Filled jewelry, unlike Gold plated jewelry, can be polished and cleaned with jewelry cleaner. The layer of Gold will not rub off. It is the same tarnish-resistant as solid 14 karat Gold and is safe for most people with sensitive skin.
It is a legal requirement in the United States (where much Gold Filled is manufactured) to stamp, where possible, items which are Gold Filled. You will see 'GF 14/20' or '1/20 14K GF' indicating the item is 14K Gold Filled and 1/20 of Gold by weight.
However, not all items are big enough or suitable to stamp (you will find this with Sterling Silver items too).
Many people think that Gold and Gold Filled does not tarnish. Unfortunately this is wrong. Pure Gold (24k Gold) does not tarnish because it is not alloyed (mixed) with other metals but all other karats of Gold are alloyed with other metals and this is why tarnishing may occur. The higher the karat of Gold the less likely it is to discolour (tarnish). Very little tarnishing will be observed in 14K Gold. The most common causes of tarnishing are: oxidation, exposure to sulphur, differing body chemistries and exposure to perfume, hairspray, cleaning agents etc. Taking care of your jewellery and proper storage are the best methods to avoid tarnishing.
Gold Filled is not to be confused with Gold plating as Gold Filled literally has 100% more Gold than Gold plating.
